Pot Luck - LOL
Along came the election,
with all the bamboozle and fluff,
who's got the traction?
and what's more than enough? The millions of dollars raised,
and wonton spending, and needs,
platforms, spins and praised,
what's happening to our seeds? Fighting a war or two,
men, women and families,
they go and do with too few,
when they coming home? we’ll see, The problems with the border,
well, it’s not really that bad, they say,
we issue another government order,
it will be fixed along the way, Economy and mortgage issues?
didn’t we fix that just yesterday?
the “fix” arrow fired, twisted and misused,
the phone are still ringing, day by day, A new tax cut or rebate they’ll give,
more hush up and go away money to be told,
for every man, woman and child to live,
some don’t care for me to be so bold, Cause in these, there is nothing to resolve,
not much mention of our burdening deficit,
just politics and games for those involved,
and who is in the right place to benefit? A few make a stand, on what is right,
open to mocking and ridicule at each turn,
unpopular and rejected through the fight,
but still standing and respect, he has earned, Fence riding and flopping like a fish,
this is not his way of doing business,
he takes his stand, plainly, and not amiss,
openly admitting, of this his ignorance, We prayed for a choice in the reign,
in the White House a man,
who would bring something sane,
I hope it is in His Plan Now we need to pray to God,
that the meal that is set before us,
not to endless war, His word prod
will not fail nor to famine us, Potluck is what we get,
roast beast is what we like,
chicken is what is set,
like what you get, or take the hike.
